Checkmate's Dungeon

I awake to find myself in the middle of TIMES SQUARE. I am fully clothed and happen to be wearing a BACKPACK, which will serve as my INVENTORY. There are PEOPLE everywhere around me. There are cars zipping by and there is a FORD MUSTANG idling along the side of the street with nobody in it. I can head in any direction.

Search POCKETS and BACKPACK.

I find a WALLET and an IPHONE 4 in my POCKETS. Inside the BACKPACK is only a NOTEBOOK.

Turn on Lightsaber App and stab some random bystander. Stab him good

Throw the LIGHTSABER at a POLICE hoping to blow it up, then walk SOUTH

The LIGHTSABER is aimed for the gas tank of one of the POLICE CARS. It misses and nails one of the POLICE MEN driving. This POLICE CAR takes out three other POLICE CARS. There is one POLICE CAR still coming toward me. I beginning running SOUTH.

Push your way into a building.

I find a rundown BUILDING on the side of the street. The FRONT DOOR is unlocked. So I proceed inside. On the right is a COAT HANGER. If you walk in a little further you will see a CHAIR, a TV, and a DESK.

Break the WINDOW open and turn on the TV.

GLASS shatters everywhere and PEOPLE walking by stop for a moment to look in my direction, but continue walking. I turn on the TV and FOX 5 NEWS comes on. There showing a segment on some teenager who went on a rampage not too long ago killing about fourty PEOPLE ten minutes prior. They also mentioned that this kid made four POLICE CARS crash.

While I am very deep in thought, the FRONT DOOR is kicked down. Someone shouts, "Stop right there, it's the POLICE!" I assume it is a POLICE MAN.

I somehow find myself on the TOP floor of this BUILDING.

However, I find myself in a DARK ROOM. I can't really tell what's around me. I see a light, it must be a WINDOW.

Run around the DARK ROOM's WALLS feeling for a LIGHT SWITCH!

I flick on the LIGHT SWITCH, but nothing happens.

Scream for help.

Someone opens a DOOR toward the WEST.

Attack them with fists.

An injured MAN lies on the FLOOR. His jaw appears to be broken. This DOOR leads to the ROOFTOP of the BUILDING.

Take MAN as hostage and exit through DOOR onto ROOFTOP.
